My work "The Non-human City Driven by AI and Ecological Environment" will participate in an exciting exhibition—potenziale 3—within the sub-unit "Bio Lab: Living Space." This is an interdisciplinary research laboratory aimed at rethinking how we coexist with the environment. The exhibition explores how to create sustainable urban strategies and new life cycles through various operational processes, from biological materials engineering to immersive mixed ecosystems.
In this exhibition, you will encounter many innovative interactive prototypes that showcase new interfaces between human-built environments and ecosystems. Topics covered include biocomputation, materials engineering, synthetic ecology, environmental psychology, and machine learning, all offering fresh perspectives and solutions for architecture and urban design.
The exhibition poses important questions, such as how do we imagine new interactive protocols and material cycles in a post-human era? How can machine learning be applied in the design process? How do we establish new alliances with all living beings to create non-normative spaces and coexistence relationships?
My work will be presented as a biological artificial garden, demonstrating the potential for interaction and development with other life forms. Through the concept of "coding," we can delve deeper into how to achieve profound environmental interactions in urban spaces. Visitors will be invited to participate in the generation and updating of these projects, becoming part of this "Living Space."
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore how we can redefine our ways of living in harmony with nature.
